My boss tells me I have to fill out Form 101.
- Until what date can I complete it?
- If I'm employed elsewhere, do I still have to fill it in?

Answer: Tofes 101 - An annual obligation.
The tofes 101 is a form that must be completed by every employee of a company in Israel.
- First & last name,
- Postal address,
- Alya date,
- Name of children, (an important factor in tax deductions)
- Does he work elsewhere? (In this case, the employee must provide the employer with a Tioum Mas).

Important Tofes 101 must be completed each year by the employee, before the 28.02 of the current fiscal year. This applies even if the information has not changed.
When you start a new job, you need to fill in this form as soon as you start your new activity. Technically speaking, you need to fill in either :
- Within 7 days of starting your new job in Israel.
- As soon as you receive your first salary.
According to the earliest of the 2 events listed above.
Finally, if you're employed elsewhere, you need to tell each employer that you have another job.
You will also need to file a Teoum Mas with the tax authorities in Israel.
For your information, if you have not completed your tofes 101, or if you have not indicated whether or not you work elsewhere, your employer will be obliged to deduct at source the maximum tax bracket indicated by law.
For 2021, this threshold is set at 47%.
Don't forget to fill in the tofes 101 correctly, as a small mistake could cost you dearly.
